Prof. Catherine Barnard

Professor Catherine Barnard FBA is Professor of European Union and Employment Law at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow and former Senior Tutor of Trinity College, Cambridge. She is one of the UK’s leading scholars on EU law, the single market, free movement, employment rights, and the legal consequences of Brexit, and she is also Deputy Director of UK in a Changing Europe, regularly advising and commenting on UK–EU legal and constitutional issues.
